So, we haven’t posted anything again for a while. Sorry for that. It’s just incredibly busy at the moment.
Here is a post about how we spend New Years Eve in Budapest and a few days before we stopped by in Vienna to see that as well on our way.
They are both two very nice cities, that are definitely worth a visit.
In Vienna we stayed in an airbnb flat about 20 km out of the city centre. It’s a nice city with a lot of very old buildings, castles and palaces etc. which are nice to look at. And besides those buildings you also have nice modern buildings by the famous artist/architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser, who was born in Vienna. Here is the gallery of Vienna:
After Vienna we drove to Budapest to spend New Years Eve there. It´s a very nice and beautiful city that we can highly recommend. It was pretty cold when we were there but we were fortunate enough that we had a nice and cosy room with a view over the river where we were able to see the fireworks without leaving the warm 😉 Anyway here is the gallery from Budapest:
