So we put an ad on flatmates.com.au where we got a response from an older man called William who had a room in his flat available and he invited us to have a look at his apartment. After entering his place we immediately saw this view:
Very hard to say “no” to that kind of opportunity even if the rent was a tiny bit above our budget. So we moved in and obviously took some more pictures over time.
This is the street where our house is on. If you follow it down a little more you end up in the heart of Surfers Paradise.

It is a two story Penthouse on the top of the building and the second floor is pretty much unoccupied which makes it very awesome to hang out (or do Yoga) and this couch with the incredible view was definitely our favorite place.
And of course, chillin’ on the balcony on a nice day off.
This is the pool for days, when the ocean is a little too cold 😉
